Bad choices. Don't bring up that compiz vs beryl discussion again. ;)
Other than that I agree with you, it's crucial that the people making
decisions have the qualifications to do so. (I know I don't - I just point
out some of the flaws that could be improved)

I think this merge was rushed from the beginning, and now there are users
(yes, me included) waiting for you to deliver. But I guess you are right,
for the time being you can live without impatient people. Still, this does
not mean that slowing down is acceptable.
