The concept that I outlined was to have a single forum (which could be 
physically located on any appropriate server) which was linked to by each 
site through DNS. In other words forum.compiz.org and forum.compcomm.org 
would both resolve to the same forum. To the end user the forum would appear 
to be part of each site. This works equally well under any domain or 
subdomain and is compatible with the naming ideas being discussed on other 
threads. I believe at this point that the current forum on 
opencompositing.org is the best candidate to be the single forum for the 
reasons I outlined here:
