It's not about the artwork contest as such (btw: for what exactly will
that new logo be used? As a "placeholder" for the upcoming OCO logo?).
There were several things decided/done without asking anyone. Can't we
just try to be _slightly_ more patient and maybe try to organize and
decide things _together_ ??? That'd be awesome.

"Together" in this case would mean that things are not _announced_ to
this list, but maybe presented _before_ they are set in stone.

A.k.a the former beryl-devs? :D ... It's like a two party system where
one party decides to now make decisions on their party-meetings and then
"announce" those things to the whole country (without taking the "ugly"
democratic round-trip through a debate in the senate).

I actually _take_ my time to write/read mails to/from this list. I have
no time to hang around on irc for chatting. Especially not if it is a
channel called opencompositing-dev ... what has that channel to do with
what we do here? I don't think that anything said on that channel should
be of interest for this list and the progress here (I think it is rather
counterproductive).
