[Compcomm] I'm modifying some plugins and need some help.

The bouge plugin should not compile at all as it is now! Did you do "make clean" first?
You will have to make some changes to its source first: for bouge, this means simply removing all the lines which 
contain an "N_(...)" macro.
I hope I am not using other Compiz version than anyone other in this list :-o
