I think your post isn't worth an answer at all but I can't resist ...

You think we have not? That's the core of all problems - you seem to
think that your ideas are the one and only choice. That is truly
ignorant.

We could say exactly the same about you.

Maybe there are developers out there who don't care for blessings
flowers or fame? If there is no half-hearted help needed and wanted
because something is at a very early stage it definetly makes sense to
handle it a bit more closed. Open-source doesn't neccessarily means
there have to be ten people working on something.

Sadly the forums are all dumped so you can't read the posts from those
days - I can assure you that all the stories you heard are badly wrong
and biased ;) ... And, honestly, you are trolling and flaming much more
in this single post than Mike did back then.

Maybe you just can't stand if someone has valid arguments and yours
don't have a chance. It is not about fucking up - and only for my
curiosity where did compiz "fuck up"? As far as I know beryl was the
only thing that got "fucked up" - compiz and all its (planned) related
apps are (were) just not ready ...

Do you really think such an attitude and behavior leads to anything?
What would be your reaction if people talk to you like this? Maybe you
should think before you speak, too - mate ;) ...
